Direct flights at Aitport Bourgas from June 2021

One more airline brought joyful feelings to hotel owners in Sunny Beach and on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. There are direct flights from Bourgas Airport, which will contribute to faster movement of tourists to the resort.

The airline is Blue Air. The management of the carrier announced that from June 2021 it will directly connect Transylvania with the Southern Black Sea Coast of Bulgaria. There will be direct flights between Cluj Napoca and Bourgas.

The launch of flights on this route is the first step towards developing activity in our market. The even better news is that flights can now be booked. Prices start at € 29.99 one way and include one free change of travel dates.

Blue Air will operate two flights a week between Cluj-Napoca and Bourgas, every Wednesday and every Sunday.

Blue Air is a Romanian low-cost airline based in Bucharest with a hub at Henri Coanda International Airport. It is the largest Romanian airline with scheduled passenger flights. In 2017, Blue Air carried more than 5 million passengers, which is 40% more than the 3.6 million passengers in the previous year. From February 2019, Blue Air flies to 57 destinations on schedule.

Currently, Blue Air operates 18 Boeing 737 series 737-300, 737-500 and 737-800 aircraft with a capacity between 120 and 189 seats.
