Varna Airport

Varna is one of the most beautiful cities in Bulgaria. It is the center of the summer tourist in the Northeastern part of the country. During the summer months, a large part of the incoming flow of tourists arrives at Varna Airport. This is a starting point to various seaside resorts and country destinations. There are offices of transfer companies and car rental on the territory of  the Airport.

Varna Airport is only few kilometers from the city. It can be reached by car in a short time: between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on the traffic. Many international lines are served here - regular and charter in the summer. It has convenient connections to major airports: Sofia, Vienna, Istanbul, Moscow, Belgrade and Tel Aviv.

- operates 24 hours, without slots.

Distances to important destinations:
The distance from Varna Airport to Sunny Beach and Nessebar is about 110 km.
The distance to Bourgas is about 150 km.

The panoramic road makes the transfer to and from the airport very pleasant.

The road Sofia - Varna is about 450 km. It is between 340 and 380 km to Plovdiv, depending on the route.

We recommend that if you want to travel to the capital or the ski resorts in Southwestern Bulgaria, you get to Bourgas first. On the Trakia highway the road is a bit longer, and at the same time - much faster.
