Organizers and hosts of the International Folklore Festival
Nessebar Jewelry are the Municipality of Nessebar and the Lyceum Yana Laskova 1905, Nessebar.
Objectives of the International Folklore Festival "Nessebar Jewelry":
- to preserve and promote the folklore heritage
- to stimulate the interest and love of generations for folklore
- to encourage the search, preservation and dissemination of folklore
The festival is a competition, and Bulgarian and foreign singing groups, folk choirs, folk dance groups, folk dance clubs, folk ensembles and instrumentalists traditionally take part in it. The participants are divided in two categories: professionals - students or vocational training in art schools, specialized classes at secondary schools and high schools, universities and academies; non-professionals - community centers, art centers, schools, clubs and participants with activities other than the music profession.
